However, Merchant still owns 20%. It sells its products all over the world in over 30 countries including Australia, London, the U.S., and South Africa. The company sponsors surfers around the world to surf in Australia and South Africa. The company is an U.S. owned company. The company sells shirts, shorts, swimwear, surf and skate equipment by Element Skate Company, and recently added footwear to their collection of apparel. As well as the Billabong brand-name, the company sells surfwear and accessories under the Palmers Surf, Honolua Surf, Von Zipper, Kustom (footwear), Nixon brands, and also Element skate clothing and hardware. The brands are available at various surf and skateboard stores locations.
