Fred Perry History
Yes, you have found the premier site for Fred Perry History. This is not a boring site about how thread was developed, but it is an exciting site that shows the Fred Perry History and background of today's fashion styles. Not only can you see how the everyday denim was developed, but you can see the Fred Perry History of today's hottest fashions-Bape, Evisu, Stussy, Klein, Red Monkey, and many, many more.
Fred Perry collaborated with Tibby Wegner to invent the sweatband in the late1940’s and the pair then went on to launch a sports shirt in 1952 (at Wimbledon) with great success, and the Fred Perry clothing brand was born. The Fred Perry laurel logo was based on the old Wimbledon symbol, and like Lacoste the brand’s heritage is firmly rooted in it’s tennis history, but both have now gone way beyond that and found an audience in the World of casual fashion. Fred Perry polo’s have been associated with the Mod scene for years, and with Mod icons Pete Townsend and Paul Weller, and has remained a very British brand while expanding into a global market.
